Jessica Poeppelman

Beginner Class Instructor

Jess has been studying and speaking French for nine years. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno May 2023, summa cum laude, in the Honors College with a Bachelor of Arts in French. Her last semester, she completed an undergraduate thesis on women playwrights who were forgotten in French history. 

Apart from her academic career, Jess has had a personal interest in the French language and culture most of her life. She has spent time in Montreal and in multiple cities in France to appreciate francophone culture and to grow her language skills. She has a strong appreciation for French music, films, books, and theatre.
